Serious catteries around the world look for the same thing: healthy, typey Maine Coons from lines they cannot find at home. That is what we offer. Hugcoon places a small number of kittens with breeding rights each year, to breeders we have talked with and trust. Our best placements are international, in the United States, in Russia and across Europe, and every one of them started with a conversation, not a shopping cart.

Breeders search by code, so here is our program the way you would write it. Both spellings work, with or without the space (ns 12 or ns12):

The cats behind our kittens
Our foundation cats come from the finest catteries of Europe and Russia, with Maine Coon lines from Switzerland, Poland and Norway among them, selected pedigree by pedigree, and it shows in the cats. Our males: Aston, blue silver shell, and Apalash, black shell. Our queens: O'Lala von Palüt, black silver shell (ns 12), Allure, black smoke, and Aloha, blue smoke. Three future queens join the program in early 2027: Baguera, PP 6666, blue solid polydactyl, BoraBora, PP 7766, black solid polydactyl, and Bali, black high smoke born here. Photos and pedigrees of each cat are on our French pages, and we will happily walk you through any pedigree on a call.
Health, papers, contract
Every breeding cat is DNA tested for HCM, PKD and SMA before entering the program. A breeder quality kitten leaves with its LOOF pedigree, which registries abroad accept for import registration, a veterinary health certificate, and a contract stating the breeding rights in writing. What we test and what we guarantee is on paper, not in promises.
Outside stud service: no
We are often asked whether our males are open to outside queens. The answer is no, and it will stay no. Hugcoon is a closed cattery: no outside cat enters, for sanitary reasons, and because protecting a healthy, rare and exceptional line is the whole point of our work. If you want our bloodlines in your program, the road is a kitten with breeding rights, not a mating.

Questions from breeders
Do you sell Maine Coon breeding queens and studs?
We place a small number of breeder quality kittens with breeding rights each year, to catteries we have talked with. We do not sell adult proven breeders; our adults live and retire here.
What do breeding rights include at Hugcoon?
A written contract granting the right to breed the cat, the LOOF pedigree accepted for import registration by registries abroad, the DNA test results of the parents for HCM, PKD and SMA, and a veterinary health certificate before departure.
Do you offer stud service for outside queens?
No. Hugcoon is a closed cattery, for sanitary reasons and to protect the health of a rare line. No outside cat ever enters the cattery. Breeders who want our lines adopt a kitten with breeding rights.
Can I register a Hugcoon kitten with the registry of my country?
Yes. Kittens leave with their official French LOOF pedigree, which foreign registries accept when you register the cat for import in your own country. We provide every document the registration requires.
